A cooperation of the Theological Universities of Apeldoorn and Kampen.
BEST is a research group that seeks to stimulate the interaction between Biblical Exegesis and Systematic Theology (BEST).
The group consists of biblical scholars and systematic theologians of the Theological Universities of Apeldoorn and Kampen (the Netherlands). They cooperate in a joint research programme and organize international conferences around major theological themes.
We strive for an inspiring understanding of Scripture that has a central interest in God and his works, and a systematic theology that is refreshed by Scriptural input and not strapped by rigid conceptual structures, be it traditional or contemporary.
The BEST group is based in the Netherlands and wishes to disclose the rich Dutch Reformed tradition to an international audience.
