Research interests

In my PhD-thesis I investigated the theme of 'being in Christ' - christology and soteriology. The book is a conversation with the Puritan John Owen, Neocalvinist Herman Bavinck, Anglican ethicist Oliver O'Donovan and the German theologian Ingolf Dalferth; the middle part of the book has a BIblical-theological character and deals with Paul and John. Until now, I try to work both in systematic theology and biblical theology.

In 2024, I have published a book about hermeneutics and the doctrine of Scripture: Jesus Christ, Hermeneutics, and Scripture: from Epistemology to Soteriology. In this book, John Owen, Herman Bavinck, Oliver O'Donovan and Ingolf Dalferth return, together with other thinkers.

After having finished this book, my research focusses on the doctrine of the covenants. Other areas of interest: ecological theology (active in the TUU-minor ecological theology), charismatic renewal, concept of sacrifice, mystagogy.
