Description
Although a lot of books and articles have been written about divine attributes like love, grace, mercy, and goodness on the one hand, and divine wrath and anger on the other hand, the attribute of God’s patience, as primarily indicated by the expression אפים ארך has never been investigated in-depth, resulting in a monograph.
This research seeks to get a deeper insight into how the Old Testament speaks of God's patience as one of God’s attributes related to his wrath and mercy. So it tries to answer whether the notion of God's patience does not conflict with the biblical testimony of a God whose anger can suddenly be kindled.
